HARMFUL GASES TESTING

Why is Radon Dangerous?

Radon can be found abundantly in the soil surrounding your home and can enter through basements, crawl spaces, and cracks in a building’s foundations. Radon gas is a byproduct of the radioactive decay of uranium and radium, generated by the differences in air pressure and temperature between the home and the air outside.

Low levels may not pose a large threat, however high levels have shown to raise the risk factor of individuals developing lung cancer in the future. Next to cigarette smoking, radon gas is the 2nd leading cause of lung cancer. It is also shown to cause respiratory problems in children.

Home Radon Test

Due to the fact that radon gas is colorless, odorless, and tasteless, the only way to measure it is through the use of proper testing. For this reason, we offer radon mitigation testing for your safety and to offer you peace of mind in your home or office.

There are two forms of radon testing, active and passive. Active sampling devices constantly and consistently measure the levels of radon in a portion of your home. Passive devices collect samples over a period of time and submitted to a lab for analysis. Both methods will help you determine your level of risk.

Our licensed specialists conduct a series of assessments and tests to measure the levels of radon in your home or office space. Results are then evaluated to determine if any form of improvement is needed.
